Common Redesign Questions
How much does a website redesign cost in the GTA?
Website redesigns start at $1,499 CAD for our Growth package (matching the new-build price). Full custom redesigns sit at $2,499 CAD for our Pro tier. The Growth tier suits a 5-10 page small business site. Pro is for larger redesigns with e-commerce, advanced functionality, or extensive content migration.
How long does a website redesign take?
Most redesigns launch in 3 to 5 weeks. We move faster than a new build because the content already exists. Larger redesigns with significant content rewriting or e-commerce migration take 5 to 7 weeks.
Will I lose my Google rankings during a redesign?
Not if we do the redesign right. We map every old URL to a new URL, set up 301 redirects, preserve title tags and meta descriptions for ranking pages, and rebuild your schema markup. Your Search Console traffic typically dips for 1 to 2 weeks during reindexing then returns to or exceeds previous levels.
Do I need to switch platforms to redesign?
Not necessarily. Many GTA small businesses on WordPress or Shopify can be redesigned in place if the underlying platform still serves you. We move clients off Wix, Squarespace, or outdated WordPress builds only when the platform itself is the bottleneck.
Can you migrate my old content during the redesign?
Yes. Content migration is included in every redesign. We move your existing pages, blog posts, images, and key data into the new site structure. We will also flag content that should be rewritten, consolidated, or retired.
What happens to my email and hosting?
Hosting moves to Vercel (for Next.js) or Shopify (for e-commerce) as part of the redesign. Email stays where it is on Google Workspace or whoever currently hosts it. We coordinate DNS changes so nothing breaks during the cutover.
