How I Built My First Client Website: Lessons from Ecofrost Heating and Cooling

Every agency has to start somewhere. For Cressoft Technology, that somewhere was Ecofrost Heating and Cooling - a TSSA certified HVAC company based in Mississauga that's been keeping the GTA comfortable since 2015.

The Client: Toronto's 24/7 HVAC Heroes

Ecofrost Heating and Cooling isn't your average HVAC company. They offer 24/7 emergency service (call them at (416) 835-4775 any time), have 80+ Google reviews with a 4.8-star rating, and are both TSSA certified.

They serve the entire Greater Toronto Area - Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, and beyond - with furnace installation, AC repairs, maintenance, and emergency services.

The Challenge

Ecofrost needed a website that matched their reputation. Their 80+ positive reviews and 10+ years of experience weren't being showcased properly. Most importantly, customers having HVAC emergencies couldn't find their phone number fast enough.

When your furnace dies in January or your AC quits in August, you need to call someone immediately. The old site made that harder than it should be.

The Solution

I built a complete website redesign focused on what matters most for an emergency service business:

  • 24/7 Emergency Visibility: The phone number (416) 835-4775 appears in the header, hero section, and as a floating call button on mobile. “Toronto's 24/7 HVAC Heroes” is the first thing visitors see.

  • 80+ Reviews Showcased: Their 4.8-star Google rating and 80+ reviews are prominently displayed with trust badges. Social proof matters when someone's choosing who to let into their home.

  • Certifications Front and Center: TSSA certified and Lennox dealer badges build instant trust. These certifications matter in the HVAC industry.

  • Service Area Clarity: Clear messaging that they serve Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, and beyond. Local customers need to know you'll actually come to them.

  • Same-Day Service Highlighted: For non-emergencies, their same-day service availability is a competitive advantage that needed visibility.

Key Features Built

  • Click-to-call functionality on all phone numbers
  • Service cards for Furnace, AC, Repairs, and Maintenance
  • Trust badges for TSSA and Lennox certifications
  • Google review integration showing real customer feedback
  • Service area map covering the entire GTA
  • Mobile-first responsive design
  • Fast loading times for emergency situations

The Result

Ecofrost now has a website that matches their excellent service reputation. The site clearly communicates their 24/7 availability, showcases their 80+ positive reviews, and makes it dead simple for customers to call during emergencies.
